Anti-Ragging Cell
The Anti-Ragging Cell at C.K.R.M College of Teacher Education is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students by preventing and addressing any incidents of ragging or harassment. The cell operates under the guidelines provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other relevant authorities, ensuring that strict measures are in place to eliminate ragging on campus.
The Anti-Ragging Cell conducts awareness programs, workshops, and seminars to educate students about the negative impacts of ragging and the importance of maintaining a respectful and inclusive college culture. New students are briefed on the college’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging during their orientation, and they are informed about the procedures for reporting any incidents.
The cell is comprised of faculty members, student representatives, and counselors who work together to monitor the campus, investigate complaints, and take appropriate action against offenders. The cell also provides support to victims of ragging, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the resolution process.

As per the orders of the Hon. Supreme Court, an Anti-Ragging squad is constituted in the college, aiming to prevent ragging, a cognizable of-fence. The squad maintains vigil to prevent ragging of any kind in the campus. The cell arranges awareness programmes on ragging and allied issues. Major points of anti-ragging act and rules have been displayed in the notice board and flexi board in the campus.
